Dorothy R. Timm

Dorothy R. Timm, 101 of Oshkosh died Friday October 1, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born in Oshkosh on February 26, 1909 daughter of Frank and Meta Reinke Doemel. On June 25, 1940 she married Ralph W. Timm in Oshkosh. He preceded her in death on March 25, 1988. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.Dorothy had been a teacher at Roosevelt School for thirteen years. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church. She was also a fifty year member of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter 289. Dorothy enjoyed fishing, feeding the wildlife in the backyard, and planting her gardens that filled the yard. She was a voracious reader and visited the Oshkosh Public Library every week.Dorothy is survived by a son, Ronald Timm of Oshkosh. They were inseparable after her husband's death.Private memorial services are planned.Thank you to all at Affinity Hospice for all that they have done.
