Edgar Knoop

Edgar Ed J. Knoop, age 78, passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Mercy Medical Center, Specialty Hospital, Oshkosh. He was born on February 12, 1936, in Oshkosh, the son of the late Edgar H. and Dorothy (ODell) Knoop. On November 14, 1964, he was united in marriage to Suzanne L. Sue Dustman in Oshkosh. Their marriage was blessed with a daughter. Ed worked at Dahl Ford dealership of 44 years as a registered technician. He was a member of the Van Dyne Sportsmans Club, and enjoyed snowmobiling and watching NASCAR races. After retiring, Ed worked at Far VU golf course working on the golf carts.Ed is survived by his wife Sue, of 49 years, one daughter, Cheryl (significant other, Kolleen) Fuchs, brother-in-law, Douglas (Jean) Dustman, and cousins, Tom and Curtis. He is further survived by nieces and nephews.A memorial service for Ed will be at 3:00pm on Friday, July 25, 2014, at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home, 402 Waugoo Ave, Oshkosh with Pastor Ralph Hanusa officiating. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until the time of service. In Lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.The family would like to extend thanks to Dr. Al-Bitar and the caring staff at Select Specialty Hospital at Mercy Medical Center
