Edith F. Youngbauer, 86 of Oshkosh, died Tuesday November 3, 2009 at Bethel Home. She was born in Oshkosh on February 5, 1923 daughter of Edwin and Eva Gilbert Wanke. On March 23, 1946 she married Malvern Youngbauer in Oshkosh. He preceded her in death on January 30, 1990.Edith had been a Ward Clerk at the Winnebago State Hospital. She was a member of First English Lutheran Church. She enjoyed traveling; music; dancing; and family activities (especially with the grandkids). She is survived by three daughters, Connie (Mike) Newell, Risa (Bruce) Schreiber, and Terry Kaiser; son, Eric (Jody) Youngbauer; seven grandchildren, Chad (Stacey) Newell, Matt Newell, Melanie (Mike) Perry, Jenna Youngbauer, Jaime Kaiser, Amanda Schreiber, and David Schreiber; and three great grandchildren Gavin Kaiser-Busby, Trinity Perry, Mischa Perry and another on the way. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Wanke; two sisters, Elinor Faust and Elaine Skafte; and a grandson, Adam Schreiber.Her funeral will be Thursday November 5, 2009 at 7:00 PM at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home - Eastside with Rev. Ralph Hanusa officiating. Burial will be at Lake View Memorial Park on Friday at 2 p.m. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 PM until the time of the service. Memorial to the Alzheimer's Research Foundation has been established.
