Edmund J. Red Wislinsky, 81 of Oshkosh died Saturday September 15, 2007 at his home. He was born in on April 11, 1926 the son of Edmund R. and Marie Basing Wislinsky. Ed was chief draftsman/ estimator for Duwe Precast Concrete in Oshkosh and for Mid Con retiring in 1992. He was a graduate of Chicago Technical College. He had served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of the Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Parish in Oshkosh. He enjoyed golf, walking, and was an avid Brewer and Packer fan. He was a devoted father, grandfather, brother and uncle.He is survived by his son, Paul (Judy) Wislinsky of Gilbert, AZ , his daughter, Linda (Harold) Elmer of Oshkosh, his grandchildren, Daniel and Katie Elmer, and Brent Ruffner, four sisters, Doris Wislinsky of Oshkosh, Mary (Fred) Konrad of Oshkosh, Anita (Charles) Deininger of Marathon, WI, and Joan Wislinsky of Nerinx, KY. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mabel Crimmings, and Betty Wislinsky. His funeral will be Wednesday September 19, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Most Blessed Sacrament St. Peter site 435 High Avenue Oshkosh. Burial will be in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside on Tuesday from 4-8 PM and at the church on Wednesday from 10:30 AM until the time of the service. A memorial to the American Cancer Society has been established.
