Edna Ethel Emma Spiering, 98, died Wednesday October 29, 2008 at Omro Care Center. She was born July 31, 1910 in the Town of Eldorado a daughter of William and Emma Bindert Hackbarth. On November 30, 1929 she married Clarence Spiering in the town of Eldorado. He preceded her in death on December 31, 1982.She was a member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church-Nekimi where she was part of the Womens Circle and Senior Saints.She is survived by one son Howard(Karen) Spiering of Oshkosh, four daughters, Betty(Lennard) Leichtfuss of Van Dyne, Shirley(Ronald) Potratz of Van Dyne Darlene(Roger) Wilber of Oshkosh and Sharon(Lee) Schuhart, 16 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren, one sister-in-law Betty Wegner of Van Dyne.She was preceded in death by two brothers Norman Hackbarth, and Harry Hackbarth, one sister Doris Butz, three grandchildren, one sister-in-law Nora Hackbarth, one brother-in-law Arnie Butz.Funeral services will be held on Saturday November 1, 2008 at 2 p.m. St. John Ev. Lutheran Church-Nekimi with Rev. James Reiff officiating. Visiation will be held at the church on Saturday one hour prior to the service.
