Edna Minnie Kuehl

Edna M. Kuehl, 101, of Oshkosh, died Sunday April 29, 2007 at Bethel Home. She was born September 15, 1905 in Greenbush, WI a daughter of John and Henrietta Titel Knowles. On August 10, 1935 she married Frank Strep Kuehl in Waukegan, IL. He preceded her in death on March 15, 1979.She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She graduated from Oshkosh Normal School in 1926 and was a special education teacher. She was in the Bible Study Club, Retired Teachers Association and enjoyed gardening, crocheting, reading, and spending time with her family.She is survived by one daughter, Nancy (Harold) Salzer of Oshkosh, their children Harold (Pam) Salzer Jr., Frank Salzer, Jenny (Patrick) Tratz, and David Salzer, other grandchildren Kelly (Mark) Laux, Strep Kuehl, Steward (Linda) Kuehl, Thomas Kuehl, Katherine (Thomas) Burgess and their mother Judith Kuehl, 13 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and a sister-in-law Ella Pamplin of Oshkosh. She was preceded in death by one son, Strep Kuehl, one brother Frank Knowles, three sisters, Louise Prill, Minnie Drehr, Verena Campbell and one grandchild Sarah Elizabeth.Funeral services will be held Thursday May 3, 2007 at Trinity Lutheran Church at 11:00 AM, Rev. Marvin Ahlborn officiating. Family and friends may call at the church Thursday from 10 AM until the service.
