Edward Mark Juzenas

Edward M. Juzenas, age 62 of Princeton, died at Aurora Medical Center on Sunday, January 3, 2010. He was born in Kenosha on May 27, 1947, a son of Alphonse and Stella Juzenas. Ed married Patricia Matus on April 19, 1969 in Kenosha.Ed owned and operated Fox Valley Builders, a construction and insulation company. He served in the National Guard, and was an avid outdoorsman, hunting deer, ducks, pheasants and fishing. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited, Whitetails Unlimited and Walleyes for Tomorrow. Ed also found time to play golf. His canine companion Zoe was always with him.Survivors include his wife, Patricia Juzenas, Princeton; two daughters, Amy (Michael) Shannon, Englewood, CO; Lisa (Brian) Cummings, Oshkosh; his mother, Stella Juzenas, Kenosha; one granddaughter, Kara Cummings, Oshkosh; four brothers, John Juzenas, Kenosha; Michael (Mary Lou) Juzenas, Appleton; Steve (Linda) Juzenas, Kenosha; Leo (Sue) Juzenas, Union Grove; two sisters, Eileen Spitzer, Ft. Atkinson; Caroline Slocum, Rockford, IL; and two brothers-in-law, Keith (Darcy) Matus, Kenosha and Scott (Trish) Matus, Castle Rock, CO. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.Memorial services will be held at St. Andrew Lutheran Church (1100 E. Murdock Ave.) on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Thomas McFarland officiating. Family and friends may call at the church on Thursday from 11:00 am to the time of service. A memorial has been established.Special thanks to Ted Naparella and family for their support and friendship and making Eds last hunting season possible, to Dr. Phyllis Lee for her wonderful care and compassion, along with the Aurora Medical Center 2nd floor staff and Aurora VNA Hospice for their care during Eds illness.
