Edwina Marie Benedict

Edwina M. Benedict, age 85, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 25, 2016. She was born in Berlin, Wisconsin on September 22, 1930 the daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth (Malson) Gregor. On May 6, 1950 she married her husband of 65 years, Claude D. Sonny Benedict. Edwina was a homemaker and liked feeding and watching the birds and planting flowers. She enjoyed watching the Badger, the Brewer, and the Packer games. Edwina was the most kind and caring individual you would ever want to meet. Her family meant everything to her. She will be remembered for the loving care she gave to her family and her grandsons will remember all that she did for them for they were one of the most important things in her life. Edwina is survived by her husband, two daughters: Claudia Block and Carla Sawall; grandchildren: Jason Block, Michael Block, Curtis Sawall; and great-grandson: Austin Block.Funeral services will be at 12:00 pm on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside, 100 Lake Pointe Dr. with Father James Jugenheimer officiating. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home from 10:00 am until the time of service. Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery. A memorial fund is being established.
