Elaine J. Isaacson

Elaine J. Isaacson, 93, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at Bella Vista in Oshkosh, WI with family by her side.She was born on August 18, 1928, in Oshkosh, WI, to Lester and Dora (Krentz) Pokrandt, the oldest of eight children. 

Elaine graduated from Oshkosh High School in 1946. She worked as a Secretary for the Oshkosh Public School District for 18 years.

Elaine married Ivan Isaacson on December 19, 1959.

Elaine was very active with her church, Trinity Lutheran Church. She taught Sunday School, participated in Dorcas Circle, the altar guild, and the Board of Parish Fellowship. She enjoyed travelling and gardening. Elaine was an avid reader, enjoyed playing Bridge, and doing needle point.

Elaine is survived by her son, Kevin (Missy) Isaacson; her daughter, Lori (Timothy) Hippert; grandchildren, Alexandra and Erin Isaacson, Rose and Samuel Hippert. She is further survived by two sisters, Dorinne Christl and Rita Kruschwitz; two brothers, Gerald (Patsy) Pokrandt and David (Elaine) Pokrandt, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Elaine was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan, and three brothers, Raymond, Ronald, and Carlton Pokrandt.

The service for Elaine will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church. Visitation will be held at 1:00 PM until the time of service. Burial will take place Monday, March 21, 2022, at Lake View Memorial Park.
