Eleanore Elaine Jowett

Eleanore E. Jowett, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2014, at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh. She was born on February 20, 1928, in Almond, WI to Clyde and Cora (Wollenburg) Schroeder. Eleanore worked in the social services department of Winnebago County for many years. She often volunteered for the EAA organization and was a long time member at Grace Ev. Lutheran Church.Eleanore is survived by her daughter, Laurie Rabensdorf of Randolph, WI; son, Michael Jowett of Phoenix, AZ; brother, Laverne Schroeder; brother-in-law, William Butzlaff; grandsons, Justin and Joshua Rabensdorf; and great-grandson, Connor Jowett..She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Gary Jowett; sister, Betty Butzlaff; sister-in-law, Yvonne Schroeder; and grandsons, Jeremy and Aaron Jowett.A funeral service for Eleanore will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 3, 2014 at Grace Ev. Lutheran Church (913 Nebraska St.) with Rev. Jeffrey Duquaine officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.Interment will be at Lake View Memorial Park following the service.
