Elizabeth "Betty" Hasse

Our loving mother, Elizabeth "Betty" Hasse, died peacefully in her home on Saturday, July 21, 2018.
Betty was born to the late Alois and Elizabeth Horejs on November 17, 1929. She married Robert A. Hasse on March 10, 1951.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
She leaves behind two daughters, Pamela (Mark) Kunde; Penny (Kurt) Hoge; one son Kim (Charmian) Hasse; her grandchildren, Jessica Hasse; Alex (Sarah) Hasse; Shannon (Brandon) Smith; Matthew Hoge; Elizabeth (Ken) Leiviska; Adam Kunde; her great-grandchildren, Michael, Spencer, and Sophia Hasse; Ella Smith; sisters, Jean (William) Mauritz; Patricia (Neil) Abitz; Lorraine Schneider; her brother-in-law, Harold Toshner; sister-in-law, Carol Horejs. Betty is further survived by many nieces and nephews and special friend, Lois Krumenauer.
Our mom enjoyed working in the garden, reading, sewing, jigsaw puzzles, decorating for the holidays, life at the cottage, but most of all, spending time with her family. She was an avid Packer and Brewers fan.
Betty was an active and devoted member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was a faithful participant in Altar Guild and the St. John's Quilters.
Preceding her in death are her loving husband, Robert; sister, Florence Toshner; brothers, George (Dorothy) Horejs, Robert (Lois) Horejs, Roger Horejs, David Horejs; brother-in-law, Norman Schneider; nieces, Joan Clark, Karen Schneider, Billie Schrank; and nephew Jim Schneider
The family would like to express their deepest thanks to Ascension Health at Home Hospice, especially to Brad, for their kind and compassionate care. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
Funeral services will be at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church on August 11, 2018 with the Rev. Jennifer Czarnota officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:30AM with service to follow.
