Elizabeth Louise Barthels

Elizabeth L. Barthels, age 87, died on November 7, 2011 at Park View Health Center. She was born on November 7, 1924 in the Town of Omro the daughter of William and Katherine Evers Ternes.Elizabeth worked in food service at the Oshkosh Public Schools and worked at Tads Restaurant for many years. Survivors include a son , Rick (Ann Mertens) of Asheville, NC; daughter, Janet Anderson of Oshkosh; sisters, Marie (Ward) Laiten of Fond du Lac, Gertrude Postl of Oshkosh, Dorothy Grundy of Oshkosh; grandchildren, Tracy (Michael) Egan of Waukau, Missy Anderson of Oshkosh, April (Kip) Damrow of Hampstead, NC, Rebecca (Paul) Wolf of Larson, Brooke (Noonday Neese) Barthels of New Mexico, and Courtney (Justin) Rutledge of Wilmington, NC; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home - Westside on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at 7:00 PM with Chaplain Richard Kreager officiating. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 PM to the time of service. Interment will be at Lake View Memorial Park at 10:30 a.m. on Friday.Elizabeths family would like to thank the staff at Park View Health Center staff and the Woodside Neighborhood Staff for the wonderful care she received from them.A memorial has been established to Park View Health Center.
