Elizabeth Margaret Lewis

Elizabeth "Bette" M. Lewis, 72, of Oshkosh, died unexpectedly on Sunday October 18, 2009 at her residence. She was born on January 2, 1937 in Milwaukee a daughter of Sylvester and Saloma Wanazek Haasl. On June 13, 1959 she married Robert Lewis in Hartland, Wisconsin.She was a member of the former St. Mary Catholic Church, currently Most Blessed Sacrament Parish. She was a graduate of Mercy School of Nursing and was a housewife and a nurse. She enjoyed cross-stitch, knitting, her computer and teddy bears. Her great passion was cheering her beloved Brewers and the Packers!She is survived by her husband Robert; two sons, Jeffrey Lewis and Joseph (Melody) Lewis; one brother, Robert Haasl and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Rosemary Thiede.Funeral services will be held on Thursday October 22, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Eastside. Visitation will be held on Wednesday October 21, 2009 at the funeral home from 4-7 p.m. and on Thursday one hour prior to the funeral. Burial will be at Lake View Memorial Park. A memorial has been established in Bette's name.
