Elizabeth Miller, 90, of Oshkosh passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2007 at Bethel Home. She was born on January 30, 1917 in Oshkosh a daughter of Conrad and Sophie Katherine Diel-Asmus. On June 25, 1938 she married Joseph G. Miller in Oshkosh. He preceded her in death on September 27, 1983. Elizabeth was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, had worked at the Paine Lumber Company and Johnson Foods. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert (Carol) Miller, Gerald (Jean) Miller both of Oshkosh; four grandchildren, Deborah Miller of Oshkosh, Jeffrey (Chris) Miller of Tennessee, David Miller of Oshkosh Daniel Miller Oshkosh; several great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Along with her husband she was preceded in death by three brothers, George, Henry and Conrad Asmus; four sisters, Marie Yakel, Anna Nowicki, Katherine Carleton and Mildred Delbert. Funeral services are planned for Friday, May 18, 2007 at 3:30 p.m. at the Bethel Home Chapel (225 N Eagle Street-Oshkosh) with the Rev. Jeff Knoll officiating. Visitation will be from 2:30 p.m. until the service time. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery. A memorial has been established. Elizabeths family would like to send a special thank you to Park View Health Center and Dr. Curtis Radford and his staff for the care given to Elizabeth.
