Elizabeth Niemuth

Elizabeth Betty Niemuth, age 96, a life-long resident of Oshkosh, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2013. She was born on April 8, 1917 the daughter of Charles and Mary (Pimeskern) Bauer. On September 5, 1945 she was united in marriage to Leo T. Niemuth. He preceded her in death on September 5, 1997. Betty was a long-time member of St. Peters Church (Most Blessed Sacrament). She enjoyed biking, water color painting, nature, local history, current events and most especially her family.Survivors include her two children, Barbara (Daniel) Richardson, her son, David Niemuth; three grand daughters, Jennifer (Daniel) Poliak, Amy (Jeremy) Wolfe, Anne (Jamie) Muza; four great grand children, Hannah, Noah, Ben, Abby and three step great grand children, Arika, Alyssa (Gabe) and Andrew. Betty is further survived by her sister-in-law, Frances Bauer and several nieces and nephews. Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Frank, Carl (Vi), Al (Gladys) and Clarence Bauer, Camilla (Ted) Thielen and Elsie (Al) Larsen.Bettys family thanks Aurora Medical Center, Bethel Home and Heartland Hospice for their care, kindness and compassion.Mom You will live in our hearts forever. We Love You.Per her wishes private services have been held for her family.The entombment took place at Lake View Memorial Park.
