Ellen Ann Duex

Ellen Ann Duex, 68, of Oshkosh, WI, passed away peacefully at Park View Health Center on May 22, 2014. Ellen was born on April 17, 1946, to Joseph and Lucille (Kieckhafer) Duex.Ellen worked many years for the telephone company. Commitment to her career is reflected with her involvement with the Telephone Pioneers Club as she was an avid member. Ellen also enjoyed bowling, gardening, and loved to travel as well.Ellen is survived by her sister, Kathleen (Robert) Schafer of Oshkosh; a nephew, Robert J. (Kristin) Schafer and a niece, Kerry (Kevin) Kulick. She is also survived by her great nieces, Caitlyn; Alyssa Schafer; and two special cousins, Pat Blades and Mary Niemuth.Graveside service and inurnment will be on July 7, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Lake View Memorial Park (2786 Algoma Blvd.).Ellens family wishes to thank the staff at Parkview Health Center for all of their special care and devotion.
