Elmer Ervin Stark

Elmer E. Stark age 80 of Oshkosh, died at Northpoint Medical & Rehabilitation on Saturday, July 9, 2011. Elmer was born in Kingston, Wisconsin on March 19, 1931, a son of the late Herman and Mayme Hoeft Stark. On April 7, 1951 he married Shirley Smith in Ripon.Elmer served his country with the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He had been employed with Block Iron. Elmer was a member of Martin Luther Lutheran Church and a member of the church mens club and was a foster parent.Survivors include his wife Shirley Stark of Oshkosh; two sons, Robert (Mary) Stark and Randy (Beth) Stark, all of Oshkosh; three daughters, Sandra (Tim) Winkler, Oshkosh; Susan (Erv) Portman, Cary, N.C. and Shelby (Allan) Goranson, Oshkosh; one sister, Evelyn Kohnke, Ripon; one sister-in-law, Ony Stark, Plover; twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. He is also survived by a foster daughter, Terre (Mark) Boettcher and their 2 children. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.Funeral services will be held at Martin Luther Lutheran Church on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Revs Jeffrey Berg and Nathan Ericson officiating. Family and friends may call at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home- Westside on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 AM to the time of the service. Interment will be at Lake View Memorial Park. A memorial has been established.Special thank you to everyone at Northpoint Medical & Rehab for all the support they gave Elmer and to Karl and Eileen Hensel for watching over dad everyday.
