Elsie May Ulrich

Elsie May Reamer Ulrich passed away at age 90 in her home surrounded by family on Wednesday, September 30, 2015. Elsie was born January 15, 1925, in Earsham, Norfolk, England, as the youngest of five children to Arthur and Amy (Potter) Seaman. She came to the United States in 1946 as the wife of John A. Reamer, Sr. John preceded her in death in 1965. In 1969, Elsie married Wilmer Ulrich and began working for the H.C. Prange Company where she was employed for 21 years. After retirement, she volunteered at the American Legion and Oshkosh Visitors Bureau. Elsie was an active member of many local groups including the 20th Century Club, Business Women's Club of Oshkosh, and the American Legion Auxiliary. She was a member of St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church and served with the Altar Guild. Elsie enjoyed knitting, sewing, and taking care of her family. Elsie is survived, and her memory will always be cherished, by her family: husband Wilmer Ulrich; children David (Dianne) Reamer, Sandra (Michael) Burton, Tom (Gerri) Reamer, JoAnne (Jeffery) Kohler; stepsons Philip Ulrich, Rick Ulrich, and Timothy (Michele) Ulrich; grandchildren Stacey (Mike) Koehn, Debbie (Paul) Jacques, Rebecca Abreu, Michele Krokstrom (Dustin Hinds), Danielle Kohler, Kristopher (Bridget) Ulrich, Derek Kohler, Kaitlyn Reamer, Gracie Reamer; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; nephew Gary Reid; and numerous nieces and nephews in England. She is preceded in death by her husband, John A. Reamer, Sr., and sons John A. Reamer, Jr., and Richard Reamer.A funeral service for Elsie will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 5, 2015 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes- (Westside) with Rev. Jen Czarnota officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be at Lake View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations are to be made to Theda Care Hospice and St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. The family would like to extend their gratitude for the excellent care given by Dr. Benjamin Heinzen and his staff, as well as the Theda Care Hospice staff.
