Emeline E. Runkel, 92, of Oshkosh died Tuesday December 19, 2006 at Bethel Home. She was born October 27, 1914 in Oshkosh a daughter of the late Emil and Lillie Villnow. Emeline married Gordon Runkel on Feb. 1, 1944 in Dubuque, IA. He preceded her in death on Dec. 15, 1981. Emeline had worked at UW-Oshkosh in food service for 21 years. She was a member of First English Lutheran Church and was a former Sunday school teacher and in many of the churchs circles. Survivors include a daughter Bonnie (Ralph) Boushele of Oshkosh; a son Ronald (Millie) Blau of Williamsburg, VA; eight grandchildren Rhonda Blau, Bruce Blau, Todd (Leanne) Kempinger, Kelley (Perry) Hansen, Kari (Mike) Mapes, Doug (Lisa) Boushele, Susan (Dick) Peterson, and Vicky Bodin; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by a daughter Kay Keough, a sister Elsie Reimer, and three brothers Clarence, Erwin Chet, and George Villnow. Funeral services for Emeline will be held Saturday Dec. 23, 2006 at 11:00 AM at the Bethel Home Chapel. Family and friends may call at the Bethel Chapel on Saturday from 10 AM until the service. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established. Emelines family would like to thank the staff at Bethel Home for all of the help and care they have shown over the past years. Love you Mom.
