Emily J Klaske, 97, of Oshkosh, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2019 at Bethel Home. Emily was born in Philadelphia, PA on July 10, 1921 a daughter of the late Frederick and Emily (Looteins) Jackish. She married Raymond G. Klaske on January 20, 1943 in Oshkosh. He preceded her in death on December 7, 1993.
Emily was a bookkeeper at First National Bank and then a home maker. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary (where she was past President) and enjoyed Square Dancing.
Survivors include her son, Frederic Klaske; three daughters, Emily Klaske-Hubertus, Barbara (Marv) Rank and Mary Klaske, six grandchildren, Chris, Beth, Ann, John, Curt and Corey; seven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Along with her husband she was also preceded in death by a son Raymond Klaske, half brother Adolph Hill, and a half sister Estelle Eisner.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Eastside, 402 Waugoo Ave. with Rev. Paul Lidtke officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will take place in Lake View Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established to Oshkosh Humane Society
The family would like to thank the staff at Bethel Home for their wonderful care of Emily.
