Ernest Thompson, age 81, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2020. He was born to the late Ernest and Eula Thompson in Neptune New Jersey on October 6, 1938. Ernest served his country in the United States Air Force. Ernest graduated with a Bachelors degree from Rutgers university. Ernest loved playing basketball, slot machines and enjoyed watching sports.

Ernest is survived by his son, Kipling (Heather) Thompson; grandchildren, Devares, Phillip, Ymaika, Malcolm, and Rashaun Mason, Whitney and Selina Okon and Phanique Thompson; 22 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Ernest is further survived by his ex-wife, Hilda Thompson; two brothers, Arthur and Samuel Thompson; two sisters, Julia Accoo and Rose Johnson; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents Ernest was preceded in death by his brothers, Darnell and Melvin Thompson.
