Esther Augusta Sperlich

Esther A. Sperlich, age 92, of Oshkosh, died Thursday July 19, 2012 at Bethel Home. She was born on July 15, 1920 in Oshkosh a daughter of Ernest and Mary Salzeider Koch. On September 14, 1949 she married Neal Sperlich. He preceded her in death on July 13, 1989She had worked at Rays Bakery for 25 years and Ray Harnitz Accounting Ltd. She was a member of Grace Ev. Lutheran Church and enjoyed playing cards, dancing, and doing crossword puzzles when she was younger.She is survived by nieces, nephews and a very special friend Jerry Olkwiewicz. She would also like to thank her nephew Ray Harnitz and her niece Margie Nichols.She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers George, Walter and two sisters Ada Harnitz and Erna Schneider.Funeral services for Esther will be held on Saturday July 21, 2012 at 3:30 p.m. at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes-Eastside with Rev. Chadwick Graham officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Peace Lutheran Cemetery.To Kim, Jim and especially Lee, Thank you for all the visits, care and support.The family would like to thank the staff at Bethel Home for all their care of Esther. The family also wishes to extend deepest thanks to Ray Harnitz and Margie Nichols for the many years of loving care.
