Eva E. Stelzner passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Evergreen Retirement Community. She was born on March 30, 1920 in rural Oshkosh, the daughter of the late John and Flora (Mischke) Bartelt. In her younger years the family moved from Oshkosh to Kiel. Eva graduated from Kiel High School class of 1938. She was united in marriage on August 31, 1942 to Roland Stelzner. Eva was employed at Wisconsin National Life Insurance, Hrnaks, and retired as the secretary in the Arts Department at UW-Oshkosh. She had always been an active member of her church and was a charter member of the Lakeside Quilters. Eva was an accomplished seamstress; she liked to read especially Agatha Christie and Dick Frances mysteries. She was an avid bird watcher; was always the first in the family to spot a robin in Spring and a junco in the Fall. Eva enjoyed watching the Packers, Brewers and Badger games and followed the local football and basketball teams. Eva is survived by two daughters: Susan (Gerald) Folletz of Oshkosh and Kathy (Dennis) Lyons of Waukesha, five grandchildren: David Folletz of Neenah, Kristine Folletz of Oshkosh, Amy (Tim) Troudt of Oshkosh, Ben (Candida) Lyons of Hartland and Charles (Sarah) Lyons of Homestead, FL; six great-grandchildren, one sister, Betty Stevenson of Oshkosh, and two brothers, Melvin Sam (Ginny) Bartelt of Appleton and John Bump (JoAnn) Bartelt of Oshkosh. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Rollie, in 2012.Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, October 27, 2014 at First United Methodist Church, 700 Linwood Ave, with Rev. John Hobbins officiating. Friends and family may visit at the church from 12:00 pm noon until the time of service. A luncheon will follow. Interment will take place at Lake View Memorial Park. A memorial is being established.
