Evelyn Lillian Kulibert

Evelyn L. Mema Kulibert, 92, of Oshkosh, died on Monday, April 15, 2013. Evelyn was born in Oshkosh on December 8, 1920 the daughter of John and Margaret Raatz Elmer. On August 26, 1944 she married Norman C. Kulibert in Clinton Iowa. Norman preceded her in death on March 22, 1987.Evelyn was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. She worked at Deltox Co. and tended bar at Mickeys Bar. She enjoyed playing cards, playing bingo at Oneida and watching the Green Bay Packers. She loved to tell the story about the 69 cents that she lost in the bank during the depression and how the bank paid her back a penny at a time over several years.Survivors include her daughter, Janice (Mike) Valdez; sons, Dennis and Terry Kulibert; grandchildren, Stacy (Mark Barbiere) Valdez, Andrew Valdez; great grandson, Zackary Scheidecker; brother, Richard Elmer and sister, Jean (Ron) Boushley. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brothers; sisters; and a granddaughter, Kristy Valdez.A funeral service will be held at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home (Westside) on Friday, April 19, 2013 at 6:00 PM with the Rev. Paul Lidtke officiating. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park.Evelyns family would thank the caregivers from Heartland Hospice for the compassionate care she was given.
