Evelyn Ruth Dutcher

Evelyn Dutcher, age 89, of Oshkosh, WI, passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 in Oshkosh after a lengthy illness, She was born on May 22, 1924 in Zittau, WI, the daughter of Balthazar and Ruth Kalbus Schmidt. She graduated from Oshkosh High School and went on to marry Clifford Dutcher on February 9, 1946. Evelyn worked for Mercury Marine for 36 years and was a member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church.Survivors include her two sons, Thomas Dutcher of Oshkosh, David (Bonnie) Dutcher of Valrico, FL and five grandchildren. Also surviving is her brother, Carleton (Lois) Schmidt of Oshkosh. Proceeding her in death are her husband, Clifford Dutcher; son, James Dutcher; brother, James Schmidt; and sister, Fern Schmidt.A private family service will be held on Friday, April 25, 2014 at Lake View Memorial Park at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Kelly Leary officiating. Visiting time will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.The family would like to thank the staff at Century Oaks Assisted Living and the staff from Hartland Hospice for their care and compassion over the last year.
