Faye Marcella Kunde

Faye M. Kunde, 90, Oshkosh, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2017 at Bella Vista Assisted Living. She was born on December 15, 1926 to Hugo and Bonita (Gustavus) Riese in Oshkosh. She was very proud of her career in the medical field. She worked for many years as a general assistant to Dr. M.C. Haines at his Algoma Blvd office; when he retired she worked in the same capacity at the Oshkosh Clinic on Ceape. Both places are now gone.

On February 5, 1972, Faye was united in marriage to Jack Kunde at St. Mary’s Church in Oshkosh. After their marriage, they moved around the country and Faye worked as a nursing assistant in several long-term care facilities. She really loved being in a position to help others and to be around people. Faye was a dog lover and owned many in her lifetime.

Faye is survived by an aunt, Hope Eigenbrodt, several cousins and her special goddaughter, Kristine (John) Selk.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack; and many other family members.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Peace Lutheran Cemetery, 101 W. Waukau Avenue, Oshkosh.
