Felix Edward King

Felix King, 73 formerly of Fond du Lac, died Sunday January 6, 2008 at Evergreen Retirement Community in Oshkosh. He and his wife had lived for seven years in Florida. He was born in Bayfield, WI on September 13, 1934 a son of Felix and Charlotte Belanger King. On September 10, 1960 he married Lois Cudmore in Washburn, WI.Felix had worked at Mercury Marine in Fond du Lac for thirty-eight years. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Ormand Beach, FL. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Fond du Lac and Florida and the American Legion, Eagles and Moose Lodges in Florida. He enjoyed fishing, traveling and was an avid Green Bay Packer Fan.He is survived by his wife, Lois King of Oshkosh, daughters, Diane Warner of Neenah and Sandy (Mark) Spangle of Menasha, sons, Dennis (Wendy) King of Oshkosh and Keith (Barb) King of North Fond du Lac, five sisters, Leona King and Charlotte Fisher both of Ashland, WI, Sally Niemisto of Mishicot, WI, Barbara Johnson of Waupun, and Doris Ennis of Two Harbors, MN, ten grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents, two brothers, Francis and Mike King, and two sisters, Betty Morrin and Katherine Roberts.His funeral service will be on Wednesday January 9, 2008 at 11 A.M. at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside with Rev. Nancy Krueger officiating. Burial will be in the Peace Lutheran Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-7 PM and on Wednesday from 10 AM until the time of the service.The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the staffs of Aurora Hospice and Manorview at Evergreen.
