Florence E Petersen

Florence Floss E. Petersen, 79, of Oshkosh, WI passed away Monday, May 16, 2011 at home with her family. She was born on June 27, 1931 in Fond du Lac, WI, a daughter of John and Laura Vilski. On April 23, 1949 she married Billy R. Petersen of Oshkosh. She had been a supervisor at Miles Kimball in the Christmas Card Department, City of Oshkosh Manager for H & R Block, and she retired as a bookkeeper and tax consultant. She has been a member for over twenty-five years of the St. Pauls Ladies Guild, Lakeshore Ladies Golf League, Elks Ladies of Oshkosh, and Bartow Municipal Golf Course. She divided her time since 1989 between Oshkosh, WI and Bartow, FL, where she was part of a home away from home golf family of friends. She enjoyed golf, reading, traveling, family, and many wonderful friends. She is survived by her daughter Sandra, two sons Jonathan and Billy, and many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, two sisters, one grandson Cory Russell, two sisters-in-law, and her husband Billy. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, May 23, 2011 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home (402 Waugoo Ave. Oshkosh, WI 54901), Rev. Rae Ann Beebe officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4 p.m. until the service.
