Florence I. Mccarthy

Florence I. McCarthy, 93, of Oshkosh, died Monday February 14, 2011 at Aurora Medical Center. She was born in Avoca, WI on April 19, 1917, daughter of William and Ida Flemming Behling. She married James McCarthy who preceded her in death.Florence was a member of St. Johns Ev. Lutheran Church in West Milwaukee. She met her future husband on the 14th of the month, they were engaged and married on the 14th of the month, he died on the 14th of the month and she also died on the 14th of a month.She is survived by her daughter, Judy (Tom) Koenig of Oshkosh; seven grandchildren, Heidi (Mark) Balke, Cary Kaulfuss, Robin Koenig, Kirstin Klatt, Kelly (Bob) Zima, Nathan Koenig, and Joel Koenig; great grandchildren, Calum Anthony Balke, Case Thomas Balke, Christiana Klatt, Melody Klatt, Benjamin Klatt, Alisa Klatt, Tiffany Klatt, Serena Klatt, Noelle Klatt, Ariana Klatt, Seth Zima, Evann Zima, and Elias Zima.Her memorial service will be Monday February 21, 2011 at 11:00 AM at St. Johns Ev. Lutheran Church in West Milwaukee with Rev. Thomas Koenig officiating. Visitation will be from 10:30 to 11:00 AM at the church. Inurnment will be in Highland Memorial Park, New Berlin, WI. In lieu of flowers the family has established a memorial fund.
