Florence Josephine Toshner

Florence J. Toshner, 85, Of Oshkosh died Wednesday April 2, 2008 at the Aurora Medical Center. She was born in Oshkosh on January 4, 1923 a daughter of Alois and Elizabeth Stadler Horejs. On July 23, 1942 she married Harold G. Toshner in Jefferson Barracks, Missouri. Florence was a member of St. Jude Catholic Parish attending at St. Vincent Church. She enjoyed playing cards; going to casinos; working with ceramics; watching the Green Bay Packers; and spending time with her family.She is survived by her husband, Harold Toshner of Oshkosh; children, Ron (Karen) Toshner of Greenville, WI, Gary (Sandy) Toshner of Ripon, Paula (David) Younk of Mukwonago, and Mark (Sue) Toshner of Oshosh; WI; a brother, David (Carol) Horejs of Oshkosh; sisters, Lorraine (Norman) Schneider, Betty Haase, Pat (Neil) Abitz, and Jean (Bill) Mauritz all of Oshkosh; four grandchildren, Eric (Melissa) Toshner, Kevin Toshner, Mara (Dean) Smith, and Ryan Toshner; and seven great grandchildren, Will, Damen, Kaleb, Hayden, Tanden, Kira, and Kylen. She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, Mason; and three brothers, Robert, George, and Roger Horejs.Her memorial service will be on Monday, April 7, 2008 at St. Jude Parish (St. Vincent Church) 1225 Oregon Street at 11:00 AM with Fr. Tom Reynebeau officiating. Inurnment will be in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the church on Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Memorials may be given to the Hansen/Toshner Endowment Fund at the Fox Valley Technical College Foundation.
