Floyd Ralph Woldt peacefully passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 94. Born on October 11, 1930 in Oshkosh, WI. He was also a longtime resident of Glendale, WI and Destin, FL. Floyd is survived by his daughter Krista Gurath and son Ken Woldt. Along with his cherished grandchildren, Brennen, Joshua, and Nicole. He is also remembered by his brother-in-law John Rosenkranz, nieces, and nephews. Floyd is preceded in death by his brother Edwin, sisters Audrey and Elaine, son-in-law Brad Gurath and his dear granddaughter Breanna. As a proud veteran, Floyd served his country during the Korean War era. After his service, he pursued higher education with vigor, earning a master’s degree in electrical engineering and received an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He dedicated 35 years of his career to Allen-Bradley Rockwell, where he held various marketing and management roles and served as an operations manager for Allen-Bradley Seisa in Brazil. Beyond his career, Floyd was known for his passion for sports and was an accomplished tournament bridge player. His love for the community shone through in his volunteer work at Brady Street Clinic in Milwaukee and Oasis FT in Walton Beach, FL. Additionally, he supported the next generation of engineers and educators by establishing two yearly scholarships through the University of Wisconsin for graduates of Winneconne High School.
Floyd was a man who immediately lit up a room. Everyone who met him loved him. His warmth, kindness, and infectious enthusiasm drew people in, and his gentle spirit made lasting impressions on friends and family alike.
