Frances A. Running

Frances A. Running, age 87, passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2022, at Lakeshore Manor. She was born to the late Charles and Alberta (Lasley) Nichols on January 13, 1935, in Oshkosh. She married James Running on July 11, 1959, in Oshkosh. While she spent most of her time raising their four children, she also spent many hours working various seasonal positions at some of the local shops around Oshkosh. She enjoyed making conversation with her family and friends throughout the years, even if it was just a phone call. Frances and James were members at First English Lutheran Church.
Frances is survived by her four children, James (Shelly) Running Jr., Jess Running, Jerilyn (Steven) Berger, and Jennifer (David) Wilson; four grandchildren, April Wilson, David Wilson, Bridget Berger, and Anna (David) Myers; and great-grandchild, Vaughn Wilson-Venne. She is further survived by her brother, Glen Nichols; sister, Myrna Chier; and brother-in-law, Wayne Voss; best friend, Margie Nichols; and good friend, Joby.
In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her grandchild, Nara Olivia Running; siblings, Chuck and Edmund Nichols, Caroline Mushall, and Dolores Voss; brother-in-law, Dan Chier; sister-in-law, Pat Nichols.
A private service will be held for Frances.
