It is with deep sorrow and heartfelt love that we announce the passing of Frank J. Peerenboom, age 61. Frank passed away surrounded by loved ones at ThedaCare Medical Center in Neenah on Sunday, March 23, 2025 after a long courageous battle with cancer. Born on December 10, 1963, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin to the late Clifford and Frances (Bradley) Peerenboom. Frank proudly served his country as a United States Marine. He married Lisa Pitzen on August 15,2020.
Frank was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend, and proud veteran. He is survived by his loving wife, Lisa; daughters, Jessica (David) Pennings, Amanda (JJ) Abraham; son, Philip Peerenboom; step-daughter, Ashlee Pitzen; grandchildren, Wyatt Abraham, and Willamina Pennings, Siblings, One brother Clifford Peerenboom; 8 sisters, Mary Miller, Betty Addington, Patty (Geno) Walker, Nancy (Curt) Becker, Doris Peerenboom, Debra Peerenboom, Gloria Nemitz, and Judy Paulik. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and friends.
Frank had a successful career working his way up to management at Gallmar Industries over the last 35 years, where his dedication and hard work left a lasting impact on all who worked with him.
Outside of work, Frank found joy in the open road, taking motorcycle rides with his wife and friends, attending many rock concerts with his wife, son, and friends, and spending time hunting. He was a proud veteran who served his country with honor, a trait that defined much of his character. Frank also enjoyed spending time at Retros bar where he made long lasting friendships.
Whenever possible Frank participated in motorcycle benefit rides for various causes and donated to many charities.
Above all, Frank was known for his unwavering love for his family. He was a dedicated husband and father who always put his children first. He was a proud grandfather who enjoyed Sundays with his Grandson. Frank was a hard worker who always had a project going on with 10 more on deck.
In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his granddaughter Delilah Pennings; 2 brothers, Richard and Peter Peerenboom; one sister Donna Bose, 4 nephews and 5 nieces.
Frank will be deeply missed beyond words, his kindness, generosity, and strength will forever be remembered. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A memorial service for Frank will be held at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes: West (100 Lake Pointe Dr) on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at 1PM. A time of visitation will be held from 11AM until the time of service. A burial with military honors will take place at Lake View Memorial Park. Family and friends will meet at Frank's favorite bar (Retros) after the burial to celebrate his life and share memories.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Franks honor to the Wisconsin Veterans home at King.
