Gail A. Wachholz, 71, of Oshkosh died Monday November 1, 2010 at Aurora Medical Center, with her family at her side. She was born February 20, 1939 in Oshkosh a daughter of the late Clarence and Octavia (Latour) Parsons. Gail married LeRoy Wachholz on June 11, 1960 in Oshkosh. Gail was a member of Grace Ev. Lutheran Church. She was formally employed at Pelz Grocery, Jess & Nick's Pizza, and Buckstaff Company. Gail enjoyed bowling, bingo, scratch offs, playing cards with family, puzzles, and collecting dolls and pigs. Her greatest joy in life was hanging out with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband LeRoy Wachholz; five daughters Kim Kay (Thomas) Schaefer, Sheri Lynn (Ernie) Brehmer, Carrie Ann (Benjamin) Hintze, Vickie Lee (Daniel) Krumrei, and Jennifer Jean (Derek) Cadwell; 11 grandchildren Sarah Schaefer, Adam and Alexander Hintze, Dylan, Brendan, and Carson Krumrei, Kevin Luling, Samantha and Tabatha Blake, Brandon Cadwell, and Cally Wachholz; a sister Judith Henke; and two brothers Kenneth (Elaine) Parsons and Robert (Bonnie) Patzlaff. Gail is further survived by sisters-in-law Betty Hart, Helen Wachholz, Gloria Wachholz, Correen Redlin, and Linda Patzlaff; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, many other relatives, and dear friends she considered family. She was preceded in death by a son James Lee Wachholz; a grandson Derek Wachholz; two brothers Gary Parsons and Dave Patzlaff; a sister-in-law Jean Parsons; and brothers-in-law Ray Wachholz, Marvin Wachholz, Robert Hart, Russ Redlin, and Willard Henke. A memorial service for Gail will be held Thursday November 4, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside with Rev. Chadwick Graham officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday at the Lake Pointe Dr. funeral home from 4:30 p.m. until the service. Inurnment will be in Lake View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in memory of Gail. Gail's family would like to thank Dr. Zernzach, Dr. Wilson, the nurses and staff at Aurora Medical Center-especially ICU and ER for all the wonderful care and comfort given during her final moments.
