Gail Emelie Klabunde

Gail E. Klabunde, age 79, of Oshkosh, passed away on Tuesday December 3, 2024, at Mercy Medical Center. She was born on March 16, 1945 in Oshkosh to the late Donald and Betty Angell. She married John Klabunde on November 5, 1982.

Gail had a rich life filled with family and friends that loved her. She was always enjoying life, whether that was breakfast with the girls or going to a double header movie day at the theatre. Family was very important to her; she was always there to help with whatever her family needed and later was the one you could count on if you needed a ride (Grandma Uber Driver). Playing cards was an enjoyable pastime, and some of her favorites were Sheep Head with her husband, Kings Corner, 31 and Phase 10. In her free time, she also enjoyed reading, going to different zoos, and anything Elvis. We promise to Bunny Hop every Easter and XOXOXO every card. There’s a new smiley face in heaven; rest well, Princess.

Gail is survived by her children Ginger (Dan) Lenz, Gina (Rick) Panske and Donald Klabunde, her grandchildren Quin (Jamie) Lenz, Shae Lenz, Rourke Lenz, Alison (Jake) Casper, Abby (Connor) Miller, Adam Panske, Aaron Panske, and her great-grandchildren, Louin, Krew and Miller Lenz and Mason Casper. She is also survived by her sister Linda (Jim) Stueber, special niece Sheila (Dan) Luft and her family, Calvin (Hailey) Jirschele and their children (Ada, Stella, Wade and Archer), Sean (Jordyn) Jirschele, and her sister-in-laws Carol and Marilyn Klabunde.

Gail was preceded in death by her husband John, great niece Alicia Jirschele, nephew Jeremy Stueber, and brother-in-law Larry Klabunde.

A private family service will be held.
