Gail Y. Mcneil

Gail Y. McNeil, age 73, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at Crossroads Care Center in Mayville. She was born in Oshkosh on August 25, 1947, to late Robert and Ruth (Otto) Stowe. Gail was united in marriage to David McNeil on May 17, 1980.

Gail loved to cook and bake, many times doing it for people she felt needed some help. She loved her church and was very active in it. Gail was involved with Shakely and would help people with their nutrition needs. She loved her animals and would keep treats for the neighbors dogs when they walked by. One of her favorites was her cat named Pheiffer. Gail loved to watch game shows during her down time.

Gail is lovingly survived by her husband, David McNeil; two stepsons: William Stowe, Allen (Diane) Stowe; a stepdaughter, Barbara (JR) Rees; six step grandchildren; ten step great grandchildren; two brothers-in-law: Willard (Sandy) Stowe, Larry (Arlene) Stowe; sister-in-law, Lynn Cuske; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters-in-law.

A funeral service for Gail will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home, 100 Lake Pointe Drive, Oshkosh with Rev. Greenwald and Rev. Wills officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of service. Burial will take place in Lake View Memorial Park at a later date.
