Gale Sharon Flack

Gale S. Flack, age 76, passed away into the hands of her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, December 20, 2016, at her residence with her family by her side. She was born a daughter to Robert and Caroline (Koller) Cappert on November 6, 1940 in Oshkosh and was adopted by Dolores Cappert in 2004 at the age of 60. She was married to the love of her life Gary Flack on November 12, 1960 in Oshkosh.She was a loving, caring, gentle woman always putting her family and friends before her in the most selfless ways. Gale was an excellent cook and homemaker and cared very much for her husband and children.Gale enjoyed playing the penny slots at the casino, attending the Sunshine Club with old camping friends, and being a part of the 1958 class reunion committee that met monthly.She is survived by her loving husband Gary, her three children Shelley Keith (John); Tim (Cindy) Flack Todd (Lisa) Flack; sisters: Linda Clough and Patricia Prahl. Sister in-law: Sally Woldt; Brother in-law Paul (Marleen) Flack; eight grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and special friends.Gale was preceded in death by her parents.A celebration of life for Gale will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2017, at Zion Lutheran Church (400 N Sawyer St.) with Rev. Jeffrey Knoll officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice (N6650 Rolling Meadows Drive #1 Fond du Lac, WI 54937) or The American Cancer Society Midwest Division (N19W24350 Riverwood Drive, Waukesha, WI 53188) in honor of Gales name.The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff of Heartland Hospice of Fond du Lac and to Dr. Karen Gremminger and staff for all the love and care they had given to Gale.
