Gerald "Jerry" P. Hass

Gerald “Jerry” P. Hass, age 84, of Oshkosh, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Ascension Medical Group in Oshkosh. Jerry was born on May 5, 1936 to the late William and Genevieve (Kallas) Hass in Omro, WI.

After high school, Jerry began work at Cowan’s farm in Oshkosh, delivering milk. He also worked as a hired farmhand, which he later retired from. This is where he met his beloved wife of 61 years, Vivian Grout, whom he married in 1959. Jerry was an avid Packer and Cubs fan. He enjoyed bowling and playing sheepshead with his family. Jerry also liked picking hickory nuts for a number of people.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Vivian; three children: Gary (Kim) Hass, Kathy (Jay) Masterson, Vicki (Roger) Roberts; two brothers: Robert (Charlotte) Hass, Lewis Hass; sister-in-law, Joan Hass; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Jerry was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Hass; sister, Darlene Williamson; and sister-in-law, Barbara (Lewis) Hass.

Jerry will be dearly missed by his family and friends whom he made over his lifetime.

Private family services will be held at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Liberty Prairie Cemetery in Pickett. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.

The Hass family would like to thank Ascension Medical Group and the first-floor nurses for all the care that they provided for Jerry during his final days.
