Gerald Owen Hoeft

Gerald O. Hoeft, 72, of Oshkosh died on Saturday March 11, 2006, at his residence. He was born on August 13, 1933, a son of Herbert and Erna Procknow Hoeft. Gerald married Janice Kime on September 13, 1958, in Oshkosh.Gerald served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked for the Oshkosh Police Department for 33 years retiring as a detective in 1990. He is survived by his wife, Janice, a son, Thomas (Beth) and their children, Jordan and Joshua Hoeft of De Pere, and a daughter, Patricia (Thomas) and their children, Katelyn and Matthew Schnurr of Midland, MI, a brother, Donald Hoeft of Sheboygan, sisters, Patricia (Earl) Struensee, and Sue Dorman of Oshkosh; brothers-in-law, Robert (Shari) Kime of Oshkosh, and William (Kay) Kime of Appleton, sisters-in-law, Kathy (Dennis) Hunt, and Joyce Hoeft of Oshkosh. He was preceded in death by a brother, Herbert, brother-in-law, Kenneth Dorman, and sister-in-law, Joan Hoeft.A memorial service for Gerald will be held on Tuesday March 14, 2006 beginning at 1:00 PM in the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home- Westside. Rev. Thomas McFarland will officiate. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
