GERALD W. HANSEN, age 91 passed away on November 24, 2010. Gerald was bornon December 22, 1918 in Oshkosh, the son of Guy and Ruth Case Hansen. Geraldmarried K. Margaret Jensen on June 7,1946 in Omaha, Nebraska.Jerry served his country in World War II, stationed in Italy. He was with the 15th AirForce, 449th Bomb Group. He rose to the rank of Master Sergeant.After the war. Jerry Hansen was president and co-owner of Hansen Electric, Inc.Jerry was a board of directors member for the Oshkosh Boys and Girls Club for over 25years. He was a docent at the EAA museum, since 1988 and a charter member of BuyChance Investment Club. Jerry was a member of the First United Methodist Church.Jerry is survived by his wife Margaret, four sons Robert (Susan) Hansen, Pepperell, MA;Ronald (Amy) Hansen, Ottobrunn, Germany; Randall Hansen, Oshkosh; and Richard(Mary) Hansen, Oshkosh; and four grandchildren, Garrick, Allison, Erik and Elsa. Hewas preceded in death by his parents, brother Marvin Hansen, and sister Alice Abraham.Funeral services were held on Monday, November 29, 2010 at the Konrad-BehlmanFuneral Home with the Rev. John Hobbins officiating. Burial was with full militaryhonors at Ellenwood Cemetery.The family wishes to thank Dr. Steven Blaha for his care over the years, and two specialnurses, Toni Rosenthal from Evergreen Retirement Community, and Becky Biesenthalfrom Heartland Hospice.In lieu of flowers, memorials to the First United Methodist Church of Oshkosh would beappreciated.
