Gerald L. Zimdar, age 70, died October 17, 2013 at Riverside Medical Center in Waupaca. He was born on October 14, 1943 in Berlin a son of Leland and Margaret Weir Zimdar.Gerald was a veteran of the United States Military where he served his country proudly and was a decorated soldier.He is survived by his sister Nancy Polsin of Oshkosh and other relatives and friends.A memorial service for Gerald will be held on Friday December 6, 2013 at Wisconsin Veterans Home-King in Olson Hall at 11 a.m. Inurnment will be at King Veterans Cemetery.
