Geraldine Fisk

Geraldine Ruppert Fisk passed peacefully into her heavenly fathers arms on Monday, February 11, 2008 at Oshkosh, WI. With great joy she anticipated meeting again the love of her life, Lowell W. Fisk, who preceded her in death on October 9, 2006. They were married on July 23, 1947 and shared their lives with three daughters that survive them: Cynthia (Paul) Brown; Debra (Gene) Weier; and Rebecca (Greg) Powers. They were proud grandparents to Jeffrey (Angela) Brown; Patrick Brown; Shelly (Weier) Aguilara, Kara Powers, and Kayla Powers. Great granddaughters Kristin Elizabeth Brown and Jasmine Marie Brown brought much joy and laughter into their lives. Gerry is further survived by brothers Robert (Ella May) Ruppert; Darwynn (Louise) Ruppert; sister-in-law Colleen Ruppert, her cousin Viola DuBay, and numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Marie Ruppert; her father and mother-in-law Earl and Rosalia Fisk; brother Burdette Ruppert; brother-in-law Denzel Fisk and his wife June; sister-in-law Vivian Bramer and her husband Bud; nephews Stephen Fisk and Timothy Bramer; and Doug DuBay, a cherished family member.Gerrys greatest strength was the love and devotion she provided her family. Loyalty to her many friends will long be remembered. Gerry and Lowell raised their girls in Lincoln, Nebraska and cherished many friendships there before moving to Oshkosh. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Diana Turner; the staff at Oakwood Assisted Living, and Evergreen Retirement Community for the compassionate care provided her for the past 15 months. The joy of our parents being reunited helps ease our grief now. We love you, mom and dad.Lowell and Gerry were members of Peace Lutheran Church (240 W 9th Ave, Oshkosh, WI) for 14 years, where celebration of her new life with Christ will be held. A visitation is scheduled for Friday, February 22 at 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and services at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 23. Memorials may be sent to the family.
