Gerard R Maszka

Gerard R. Maszka, age 68, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2019. He was born on February 2, 1951, a son to Raymond and Gertrude (Blasczyka) Maszka in Chicago, Illinois. Gerard married Deborah Kajpust on June 30, 1973 in Chicago.
For most of his life he was in sales and was a lifelong member of the Catholic Church. He was especially active with BINGO and organising the Holy Days at St. Sebastian's Parish in Sturtevant.
Gerard enjoyed fishing, camping, reading, being a Boy Scout Leader, and making his fantastic homemade pizza.
Gerard is survived by his wife Deborah, mother, Gertrude (Blasczyka) Maszka, his children, Amy (Vince) Filak, Alexander Maszka, and Margret Maszka; sister, Deborah (John) Lee, brother, Conrad (Deborah) Maszka, and granddaughter Zoe.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Maszka.
Private family services will be held.
