Gilbert Frederick Pollnow

January 17, 1925 — December 16, 2005

Gilbert F. Pollnow, 80, of Oshkosh, died peacefully on Friday, December 16, 2005. Dr. Pollnow retired from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh after an illustrious career spanning over fifty years. As many are aware, Dr. Pollnow loved to dance.All friends and dancers are invited to celebrate his life by attending a dance at the Oshkosh Elks Club, 175 W. Fernau Ave. on Sunday, January 15, 2006 from 3:00 to 6:00 PM.A memorial in Gilberts name will be established for both the Oshkosh Elks Club, and the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Foundation. Memorials may be sent to 2111 Doemel St. Oshkosh, WI 54901, or brought to the dance.
