Gladys M. Geikow

Gladys M. Geikow, 84 of Oshkosh, died Thursday December 10, 2009 at Park View Health Center. She was born in Minneapolis, MN on September 9, 1925 daughter of Andrew and Hattie Schindler Field. On July 19, 1947 she married Walter Geikow in Chicago, IL. He preceded her in death on March 21, 2002.Gladys was a member of St. Andrew Lutheran Ev. Church in Oshkosh. She is survived by two sons, Rev. Ronald (Rita) Geikow of Pacifica, CA and Steven Geikow of Wheeling, IL; daughter, Susan (Dr. Richard) Harris; brother, Robert (Shirley) Field of Eau Claire, WI; four grandchildren, Janis Koch, Seth (Erin) Murphy, Shawn Murphy, and Colin Case all of Oshkosh; three great grandchildren, Lucas, Liam, and Lila Murphy; nieces, nephews, and cousins.Her funeral will be Thursday December 17, 2009 at 1:00 PM at St. Andrew Ev. Lutheran Church with Rev. Karen Jewell officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park. Family and friends may call at the church on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to St. Andrew Ev. Lutheran Church.The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Park View Health Center and staff; and Dr. Steven Blaha for his care and for going the extra mile for Gladys.
