Glenn Robinson Stewart

Glenn R. Stewart, 55, of Oshkosh died on Monday, December 11, 2006 at Cherry Meadows, Appleton after a brave but courageous battle with cancer, he was surrounded by family and friends. Glenn was born on April 17, 1951 in Suring a son of the late Grant and Delight Kesler Stewart. Glenn lived in Suring during his younger years and traveled around for some years finally settling in Oshkosh for the last 30 years. He had been employed at Bemis for 25 years. Glenn was a hard core Harley rider, a member of the American Legion Riders (in honor of his dad), and was a committee member for the Fox Valley Motorcycle Show. He also enjoyed basketball, baseball, golfing, pool league, bowling, the outdoors, and doing home improvement work. Glenn was always willing to help out a friend no matter what the reason.Survivors include his fiance and best friend of 15 years, Debbie Jensen of Oshkosh; a daughter, Amber Jensen of Oshkosh; a granddaughter and apple of his eye Kylah Skenandore; a brother and four sisters, Jay (Patti) Stewart of Mountain, Kay (Bob) Whaley of Florence, Jenny (Greg) Curtis of Kelly Lake, WI, Cheryl Bizelka of Oconto Falls, and Shirley (Roger) Birr of Kelly Lake, WI; numerous nieces and nephews; and many close friends. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents; his riding buddies, Too Tall, Skip, Lon, and Larry Clark; and his close friend Jake.Memorial services will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2006 at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home – Westside at 4:00 p.m., Rev. Mark Elliott officiating. Family and friends may call at the Lake Pointe Drive funeral home from 1:00 p.m. to the service time. In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated to the Glenn R. Stewart Memorial Fund @ Wells Fargo Bank, 931S Green Bay Road, Neenah WI 54956.Glenns family would like to send a special thank you to the considerate staff at Cherry Meadows, especially Justine McConnell.
