Gloria Ann Schultz

Gloria Ann Schultz, 71, of Oshkosh, died Wednesday February 1, 2006 at St. Lukes Medical Center. She was born May 22, 1934 to Mabel and Wendell Anderson in LaCrosse, WI. She attended Oshkosh High School and graduated in June, 1952. On June 26, 1954 she married Charles Braemer Schultz. Gloria worked at the State Capitol in Madison, for the Food and Agricultural Dept, while her husband attended college at UW-Madison. She worked at Badger Electric Supply Company in Oshkosh and for Dr. Downing, Dr. Dudley, and in later years for Dr. J.J. Marsh, until she retired because of illness. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where she sang in the choir, was a member of the LWML, and served as an officer on the Trinity School PTL. She was an active Blue Bird and Camp Fire leader and served as District Chairman for Camp Fire Girls. Gloria volunteered at Camp HIWELA along with Charles who was Camp Chairman. She was also involved in the Oshkosh Warriors Drum and Bugle Corps. Gloria enjoyed knitting, quilting, golfing, and was an avid bridge player. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and grand children.Gloria was blessed with four children. Survivors include her husband, Charles; a son, Paul (Sheryl) Schultz of Grafton; three daughters, Devron (Larry) Lee of Oshkosh, Carrie (Douglas) Tyriver of Oshkosh, and Holly (Scott) Walker of Green Bay; a brother, Keith Anderson of Brooksville, FL; 12 grand children, Bryan (Christine), Adam and Breanne Schultz, Amanda (Cory) Loberger, Michael Lee, Reed, Whitney and Ross Tyriver, McKayla, Charles Walker and her AFS daughter, Janine Bachtiger of Switzerland. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mabel Anderson; two step fathers, Leo J. Michaely, Fred W. Radke; an infant grandson, Kyle David Walker and one sister.Funeral services for Gloria will be held on Monday February 6, 2006 at 12:30 p.m. at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church (370 Bowen Street), Oshkosh with the Rev. Marvin Ahlborn officiating. Family and friends may call at the church from 10:30 a.m. to the service time. Interment will be at Lake View Memorial Park. Memorials to Trinity Lutheran Church (Choir & School Fund) would be appreciated.
