Gloria Jean Jagodinski

Gloria J. Jagodinski, age 75, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Arizona on Wednesday, May 4, 2016. She was born in Oshkosh on July 31, 1940, the daughter of the late Joseph and Arvilla (Olson) Madel. On November 26, 1960, she married her husband of 55 years, Gerald Jagodinski. Gloria was well known in Oshkosh for being in the retail clothing business, including the Clothes Closet and Fashion Bug, and later for her cleaning business. Buying and selling antiques was a hobby she enjoyed doing with Jerry. Gloria will be remembered for her smile, her fashion sense, and especially her wonderful way with people. She will be dearly missed.Gloria is survived by her husband, Jerry; son, Jeffrey Moonie (Wendy) Jagodinski of Oshkosh; grandchildren, Heather and Amanda Sagmeister; great-grandchildren, Arianna and Axel Ferguson; brothers, Alvin Madel and Leonard (Pat) Madel; and sisters, Lorraine Gust, Betty Schmeidel, Pat Olson, and Sandra (Harland) Vincent. She was preceded in death by her son, Ricky Jagodinski; and brothers, Herman (Cordell) Madel and Jerry Madel.The funeral will be held Friday, May 13, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at FIRST ENGLISH LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1013 Minnesota St., Rev. Tim Greenwald and Rev. Martin Ruge officiating. Friends will be received on Friday from 9 a.m. until the service. Entombment will be in Lake View Memorial Park.You are loved very much and will be dearly missed.
