Gordon Albert Nast

Gordon A. Nast Sr. age 71 of Oshkosh died at Mercy Medical Center on Wednesday, April 11, 2012. He was born in Oshkosh on March 12, 1941, a son of the late Albert and Nellie Baird Nast.Gordon had been a taxi driver for the City Cab Co. He loved animals and feeding the birds.Survivors include two sons, Charles Nast of Oshkosh; Gary (Laurie) Nast of Manassas, VA; four grandchildren, Donnell Shipman, Jaimie Nast, Brittany Nast, Christopher Nast; one great grandson, Dillon Shipman; three sisters, Dorothy Palkavich of Fond du lac; Marcella Groesbeck of North Fond du Lac; Betty Kempka of Manitowoc; niece, Julie Nast of Oshkosh; nephew, Brian (Sarah) Nast of Fond du Lac; great nieces, Priscilla and Krystalle; great nephew Darian and a daughter-in-law, Bistra Nast of Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Gordon A. Nast Jr.; two brothers, Donald and Richard and one sister, Cindy Nast.Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the gazebo in South Park by the corner of South Park Ave and Georgia St. with Pastor Jim Hardy officiating. Inurnment will be at Riverside Cemetery.
