Grace Ann Schaumann

Grace Ann Schaumann, 83, of Oshkosh, died Tuesday April 16, 2013, at Lake Shore Manor in Oshkosh. Grace was born January 16, 1930, in Little Chute a daughter of Arnold and Margaret (Hooyman) Van Deraa. Grace was married to Roy Roy Boy Schaumann June 2, 1950 in Little Chute Wisconsin.In life Graced loved sewing, planting flowers, cooking, camping, and even though she was not a swimmer or skier she enjoyed driving the boat for other family members that water skied. Grace worked as a CNA and for the last 17 years before retiring she worked at the Pioneer Inn in Oshkosh as a housekeeper.Grace is survived by her daughters, Deb (Steve) Williams of Omro and Denise Nelson of Oshkosh; her sisters, Virginia Vandenberg, Carol (John) Leduc, Joyce Lennert, Jeanne (Ed) Schaefer, and Peg (Wendell) Beane Grace was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Schaumann; her son Daniel; and her sister, Lorraine Van Boxtel.Private family services will be held.A Dementia memorial has been established.A special thank you to all staff at Generations Hospice who cared for Grace, especially Heather.
